Water your plants, and let God water you.

It is morning and everything looks so green.  The flowers in my flower pots are asking for water so I need to water them. There is a lot to be done this morning before I head off to the SCSM Center but my physical body does not want to cooperate. Can anyone out there relate to me? I have had shingles since Easter, and now have post therapeutic neuralgia from the shingles causing me much pain. It has been difficult to walk and life is not going the way I want it to go. So, what do I do? Do I wallow in the fact that my plans have had to change because of this physical interruption in my life or do I trust the God who keeps the sun, moon and stars moving in their orbits, the God who created the earth and all its wonders, who is more than able to keep me? I have options and you do too. So, I have chosen to trust God that this physical interruption will somehow take me to a place where I need to be. What about you? Are you feeling overwhelmed because of the physical, emotional, or spiritual challenges you are facing today? You have options! As you focus on God and talk with him through prayer, feel yourself soaring above what you are going through. God wants to give you a new perspective.  He will pour His peace over you when you least expect it.  So I thank God for this moment, that I can rely on Him and not on myself. He is with me and He will be with you. Let’s keep praying for each other.

Psalm 55:17 “Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and God hears my voice.”

Psalm 30:2 “Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.”
