Time goes by so quickly. Already summer 2016 is history. I am hoping that you have had time to be refreshed and feel renewed. However, there are so many distractions that keep us from doing what we really should be doing. If you are not intentional and do not plan well and stay open to God’s plans which often are interruptions that are disguised as opportunities, we will waste time. Dr. Joseph Peck shares in his book, I Was Busy, Now I Am Not, that “when you waste your time, you waste your life!” Being intentional is never easy and you must understand the value of a moment, the minutes in an hour. Life is sacred and a gift from God. God does not bring us into life without a purpose. In Psalm 139:16 it says that our days on earth are recorded already. God knows when your life began and He knows when it will end on this earth. Wow! I have no idea when God will stop my heart from beating on earth to be traded for heaven’s heart beat so I want to be intentional on how I spend my time. How about you? Who should you call? Who should you visit and have coffee or tea with? Have you visited that new neighbor that you wanted to visit for weeks? How about the visit to the doctor? Why are you not making that appointment? Perhaps you had a dream to go to college and something is holding you back. How about the new job you always wanted? What are you putting off today that you should make a priority? Be intentional! Start today. I am praying for you.
