Amy created a notebook which is available to all who visit SCSM. The following is a copy of a letter she included in the note book.
Dear Partners in Ministry and Friends of SCSM,
I have done my best to come up with the best websites and the best resources for this notebook.
I am sorry if you feel or I got something wrong –
please let me know right away. I did not include
heart attack or cancer because there
was just too much information on both. I also
purposely left out other chronic illnesses for the
same reason.
For the websites, I Googled the name of the
name of the illness and went through the
various websites available, read them and then
posted the ones which looked to be
the most helpful. I apologize if I made any mistakes…..
No matter what your cause at SCSM, whether it be a friend/client with a chronic illness, or a Partner in Ministry, I do hope you will take the time to read the “The Spoon Theory”……. I feel it’s very important for everyone to read, especially doctors and others without a chronic illness…. Again, I feel I did my best to put this together….Thank You!
